Wissenschafter_innen sind immer häufiger gefordert, ihre Arbeit öffentlich zu präsentieren.Vor Publikum aufzutreten ist eine komplexe Aufgabenstellung, die man lernen kann. Das spezielle Wissen des Theaters über die Spielregeln der Live Kommunikation kann dabei eine wertvolle Ressource sein. Dieser praxisorientierte Workshop bietet einen geschützten Raum, in dem die Teilnehmer_innen effektive Tools kennenlernen, um ihre Ideen und Forschungsergebnisse in der Praxis erfolgreich vermitteln zu können.

Communicating science live

 

Scientists have to be able to share the  meaning and implications of their work –

and often with a live audience. Public communication can be a daunting task, but a task that one can learn. Theater and actors have a special body of knowledge about

live communication that can be a precious resource. This practical workshop provides

a safe space for scientists who want to communicate more effectively about their work. Working with practical exercises in an interactive workshop, participants will develop effective tools to successfully present  their ideas and research results and improve public communication.

+ Nonverbal communication, body language

+ The use of voice and language

+ The use of space

+ The needs of the audience

+ Overcoming stage fright

+ The personal connection to form and content

+ Adapting to the medium in which you are communicating
